Hi All. I went to Heaton Manor and wish I could go back and do it all again. It would be nice not to have to worry about bills etc. I would like to say a huge thanks to all the staff who taught me (I’m sure not one of them has forgotten me as I was a tad mouthy and cheeky) for standing me in good stead for the big wide world and for not letting me get too big for my boots.

I am living in Devon with my girlfriend (yes, out and proud) and am key accounts manager and area rep for a very large company and doing rather well for myself.

I would love to hear from any of the benches crew (you all know who you are, you bunch o’ hippies) Holly B, Ruth W, Jennie-Mae, Zara –where have you been??? Nick, Ben, Amy, MB, Danny, Calvin, all of you, you know who you are.

Last night I went to a local restaurant. When I looked at a woman eating I thought ‘I know her’. I took a second look and was sure I recognised her. As I walked over her companion turned to look at me. There I was in South London looking at two people – Liz and Julie Hope – who I had gone to school with in the 70s at Heaton.

I am a newspaper lawyer for Trinity Mirror (look me up in Google). I live in south London with my partner Ede and two kids – Ellen (8) and Jamie (5).
