Recent visitors to the school include past pupils Peter Beardsley, (seen here chatting with Lizzie Muir), and Shola Ameobi, (NUFC and England), who came for the burial of a time capsule.

These pictures were taken on 25 January 2002 during the visit of the Lord Mayor, Mrs M J Carr

The builders suffered from a slight spelling problem on the construction sign! It was corrected later as the picture on the left shows. Strange though as the original school sign, shown below, is just along the fence!
